This policy explains how NeuVPN handles user-related data while providing its website, clients, account panel, and cross-border network acceleration subscription services. Processing is limited to information needed to deliver services, protect account security, complete orders, and improve website usability.
Data collected and why it is used
NeuVPN uses a username-and-password account system and does not require an email address. No email address is collected during registration. The account system stores the username, securely processed password credentials, plan status, traffic usage, and necessary account settings for authentication, subscription status display, available traffic calculations, and client access.
Order records include the selected plan, amount due, payment status, transaction time, and the order identifier returned by the payment channel. This information is used to confirm activation, reconcile accounts, respond to refund requests, and resolve order disputes. When the website is visited, the service may also process page views, referral pages, browser type, device category, error information, and approximate region as usage statistics. These statistics help identify page issues, assess content usability, and maintain website security.
No-logs approach and connection data
NeuVPN does not record which websites users access through international routes. It does not retain browsing content, request bodies, DNS query content, or historical records that could reconstruct browsing activity. The service does not build user-specific browsing trails or use network activity content for advertising profiles.
When a connection is established, the system temporarily processes the technical information required for authentication, route assignment, and plan traffic calculations. Connection details that could identify specific user activity are not retained as long-term records. Aggregated operational data generated to assess service status is kept separate from personal browsing content and used only for route maintenance and troubleshooting. Diagnostic information attached to a support ticket submitted by a user is used only to the extent needed to handle that issue.
Cookies and local storage
The website may use Cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface choices, and necessary session identifiers. This data keeps account sessions active, remembers user choices, and avoids repeated setup. It is not used to create cross-site advertising profiles.
After Cookies and local storage are disabled or cleared, public pages remain available, but the account login state, language preference, and some panel settings may need to be confirmed again. The client stores credentials locally when needed to maintain login status and read subscription details. The relevant local information is removed when the user signs out or clears application data.
Payment processing and third-party services
NeuVPN supports Alipay / WeChat / USDT. Payments are handled by the relevant third-party payment services. Payment credentials and authorization information are received and verified by the payment provider under its own rules. NeuVPN generally receives only the payment result, transaction identifier, and amount needed to complete an order, and does not directly control the provider's independent data processing activities.
Usage statistics may be handled by commissioned technical systems whose access is limited to what is needed for measurement and operational maintenance. Service providers may process data only as agreed and may not use it for their own marketing. Valid requests arising from legal proceedings or applicable law will be reviewed and handled within the necessary scope.
Retention, deletion, and policy updates
Account information is retained while the account remains active so NeuVPN can continue providing subscription management and client access. Order records are retained as required for account reconciliation, refund processing, dispute resolution, and applicable law. Once no longer necessary, they will be deleted, de-identified, or converted into aggregated information that cannot be linked to a specific account. Website security logs and error records are kept only for the period needed to investigate risks and maintain operations, then deleted or aggregated.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data through a support ticket in the account panel. After a deletion request is completed, NeuVPN removes account information that is no longer needed. Order or dispute records that must be retained by law remain access-restricted and are handled after the retention basis ends. Account deletion does not change payment records that have already been completed and must be retained.
This policy may be updated as service processes, technical implementations, or applicable rules change. The updated version will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top will be revised. Important changes to the scope of data processing will be clearly explained on the website or in the account panel. Users can review the policy in effect before continuing to use the service.
